Colonel Meow is the Cat With the Longest Fur

Colonel Meow is the cat with the longest fur according to a new report by Guinness World Records. His fur reaches 22.87 centimeters (9 inches). Colonel Meow will be featured in the new Guinness World Records 2014 book, which comes out on September 12.

Colonel Meow is two-years-old. He lives with his owners, Anne Marie Avey and Eric Rosario, in Los Angeles, Calif. Meow is part Persian and part Himalayan. He has a Facebook page here.
