Kittens Rescued on New York Subway Tracks
Posted on September 5, 2013
The New York subway was partly shut down for 90 minutes last week by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority as two kittens were spotted on the tracks. CNN reports that the kittens were safely rescued. Some grumpy New Yorkers complained of delays caused by the shutdown.
The kittens, named Arthur and August, were brought to Animal Care & Control of NYC (AC&C). They will be placed in an AC&C foster home and will be available for adoption in a couple weeks. AC&C lists its many kittens and cats that need homes here.
